Removal Bicycles (2009-02-16 19:26:30)

The Facility Committee has noticed that there are a lot of unused bicycles in the basement. To remove these bicycles, the Facility Committee has decided to start a Bicycle removal. A “fietsenactie” sticker has been placed on every bicycle. You are requested to remove this sticker before Wednesday, March 10th. The Facility Committee will remove every bicycle with a “fietsenactie” sticker attached on the 10th of March. Every resident is responsible for the removal of the sticker. However, if you know a resident that will not be present in the residence before March 10th, please remove that sticker as well. Camera's back in the Schiedamse Vest (2008-04-17 17:07:06)

After 5 years are the camera's back in the Schiedamse Vest. They were installed in the first week of april. There are 4 camera's in the building. 1 in every hallway on the ground-level and 1 extra pointed at the elevator.
The camera's are ment to make the building more secure. So when somebody broke into your room, let it the commitee know and we will trace back the images of the thief.
The images are saved for only 48 hours and after that time they will be deleted. Soon the people who have internet from Kennisglas can see a live stream. More information about the live stream follows when it is realised.

Rotterdam more recognisable as a studentcity (2008-04-01 19:54:28)

Currently Rotterdam is the number 3 studentcity in the Netherlands. Stadswonen wants to make it more recognisable as a studentcity and presents the "Kennisas". The idea is to make is easier for students to come and live in Rotterdam. Unfortunately all information surrounding this topic is in Dutch.

Paint at the elevator (2008-04-01 19:46:10)

Recently a big bucket of paint has been spilled at the elevator. Because of this the floor and the evelator whas covered in paint. The building committee wants you to know that we are dealing with the problem. The carpenter and cleaner are being contacted

Troubles with the washingmachine (2008-04-01 19:31:14)

The past months washing machine 1 had some mallfunctions. The laundry master inspected the problems and found that the washing machines contained a lot of little objects. It is clear that little objects like nails and hairpins don't belong in the washing machine. There for the building committee asks you to check for little objects when putting your clothes in the washing machine. With this little precaution a lot of trouble could be avoided.
